Tour this massive,
multi-colored limestone cave with 13,000 feet of passages and two rooms as big as football
fields. Now open, with advanced reservations for
camping and tours are being accepted.

This
undeveloped cave is 3820 feet long and takes
about 1½ to 2 hours to explore. Go 15
miles north of Flagstaff on US 180. Near
milepost 230, watch for NFS 245 going
west. Go 3 miles on 245 to NFS 171 and
turn left, then go approximately 1 mile to NFS
171B. Go left for ½ mile and park in the
lot at the end of the road. The trail is
unmarked but obvious.

The NCA was founded in
1965, and is a non-profit organization of
publicly and privately owned show caves and
caverns -- caves developed for public
visitation. All are natural caves or
caverns beneath the surface of the earth. These
underground wonders are presented to the visitor
with good taste, courtesy and hospitality during
tours at regularly sheduled times. Members of
the Association stress the preservation of these
natural resources. Cooperation and the exchange
of information between member caves is promoted
as owners and operators work together for the
betterment of all aspects of the show cave
industry and to better serve the traveling
public.
RED
WALL CAVERN
Pictured
at the top of this page, the Red Wall Cavern is
located in Marble Canyon on the Colorado River,
and is only accessible by boat on a trip through
the Grand Canyon.
